Strictly speaking herbal beverages are not teas. They are made by infusing herbs, flowers, spices and even dried fruit. Even herbs grown in your own garden can create a hearty brew which can provide many medicinal benefits. Mint, for example, is well known as a digestive aid, whilst rosemary increases circulation to the head, relieving pain and improving concentration, and thyme is considered useful for ear, nose, throat and chest infections.
The varieties are endless, but whichever you wish to try, you can be sure that your Gourmet Tea Machine will do it justice.
Another alternative to "tea", Rooibus is caffeine free and can be drunk with or without milk. It originates from the Aspalathus linearis shrub grown in South Africa. Sometimes referred to as Red Bush tea because of its distinctive warm red color, it claims to aid weight loss and contains anti-oxidants making it very popular with health conscious consumers.
Produced on the Egyptian plains. This has an excellent reputation as, not only a refreshing drink...
